Terms of Service

Last updated: April 11, 2026

By creating an account or using Snapile (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

Snapile lets you upload photos, organize them into digital albums, and share those albums publicly or privately. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Snapile.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens on your account.
  • You agree to give accurate sign-up information.
  • One person, one account. Don’t share or sell your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of every photo and album you upload. By uploading, you grant Snapile a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely so we can run the Service for you (e.g. transcoding photos, generating thumbnails, rendering shared albums for the people you share them with). We do not claim any rights to your content beyond what is needed to operate the Service, and we will never sell it or use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for the photos you upload. By uploading, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that the content does not violate anyone else’s rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snapile to:

  • Upload illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (we report it to NCMEC).
  • Upload non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate anyone.
  • Upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or phishing material.
  • Attempt to break, probe, or overload the Service, or bypass storage quotas, rate limits, or auth.
  • Scrape the Service or use it through automated means without permission.
  • Resell access to the Service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Serious or repeated violations result in permanent termination.

5. Plans and billing

  • Free plan: 1 GB of storage, no charge.
  • Pro: 10 GB for $5.99/month.
  • Max: 50 GB for $11.99/month.

Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Payments are processed by Stripe under their own terms. We don’t see your card details.

If a payment fails, your subscription enters a past-due state. If we can’t collect payment after a reasonable time, your plan drops to Free. If you’re over the Free quota you won’t be able to upload new photos until you free up space or upgrade — but your existing photos are not deleted.

We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Your existing subscription continues at the old price until the next renewal after the notice period.

6. AI features

Some features (auto-generated layouts, image search) use AI providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Cloudflare Workers AI. When you use them, the relevant parts of your input are sent to those providers under their respective terms. We never send your photos to third parties for training, and the providers we use do not retain or train on user inputs by default.

AI output is generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Review anything AI-generated before sharing it.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your activity creates a security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service.

On termination: your photos and albums are deleted from active storage immediately and from backups within 30 days. If you had a paid plan, no refund is owed for the unused portion of the current period unless required by law.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to keep it up and your data safe, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service or that there will be no bugs. Keep your own backups of anything you can’t afford to lose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snapile is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we’ll notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use Snapile after the changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
